In alignment with our commitment to holistic education, the Research and Development (R&D) Cell serves as a catalyst for academic innovation, inquiry-based learning, and community-centric exploration.
The R&D Cell actively supports faculty and students in pursuing independent and collaborative research across the domains of Arts and Sciences, aiming to contribute to both academic discourse and societal development.
Objectives of the R&D Cell
- Foster a vibrant culture of academic research across disciplines
- Encourage students and faculty to engage in field-based, issue-driven, and interdisciplinary research
- Bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application
- Support community-oriented research in rural development, education, public health, environment, and social justice
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in students
Key Activities
- Field Surveys & Data Collection: Students conduct fieldwork in subjects such as history, geography, education, political science, sociology, and environmental studies, helping them collect and analyze real-world data.
- Community Engagement & Social Projects: Outreach programs addressing literacy, health, women’s empowerment, and sustainability expose students to real-world challenges and foster social responsibility.
- Student Research Projects: Faculty mentors guide students in conducting independent or curriculum-based research on current and local issues.
- Seminars, Workshops & Knowledge Events: Regular academic events including seminars, paper presentations, exhibitions, science fairs, and workshops help build research confidence and communication skills.
