The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at SKV Education is established as a strategic initiative for ensuring academic excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Acting as a central body for quality enhancement, the IQAC is integral to institutional planning, assessment, and growth, ensuring that quality becomes a defining element of our academic and administrative work.
Aligned with the recommendations of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC functions as a post-accreditation quality assurance mechanism and works consistently towards performance improvement and innovation across all operational levels of the institution.
Objective
The primary aim of the IQAC at SKV Education is to create a sustainable and integrated system of conscious, consistent, and catalytic efforts to enhance academic and administrative quality across the institution.

- Promote efficient and timely execution of academic, administrative, and financial responsibilities
- Strengthen the relevance and quality of teaching, learning, and research
- Ensure equitable access to learning resources for all students
- Encourage the use of modern, student-centric teaching methods and digital learning tools
- Promote transparency and reliability in examination and evaluation procedures
- Monitor infrastructure, support services, and maintenance systems
- Foster collaboration, networking, and knowledge-sharing with external institutions and organizations — nationally and globally
Core Functions of the IQAC
- Establishing and applying quality benchmarks across institutional functions
- Promoting awareness of quality-related policies and practices among staff and students
- Organizing seminars, workshops, and training programs on quality themes
- Documenting quality improvement activities and maintaining institutional records
- Serving as a nodal body for coordinating quality-related initiatives and policy implementation
- Preparing and submitting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per NAAC requirements
- Gathering and analyzing feedback from stakeholders to guide quality decisions

Composition of the IQAC
The composition of the IQAC at SKV Education includes a balanced team of academic leaders, administrators, and external representatives:
- Chairperson: Principal/Director of the Institution
- Senior Administrative Officers from core institutional departments
- Faculty Members (3-8) from various disciplines
- Management Representatives
- Members from Local Community / Alumni / Employers
- IQAC Coordinator: A faculty member responsible for facilitating and coordinating all IQAC activities
The committee composition is regularly reviewed to ensure diverse and relevant participation in quality initiatives.
Role of the IQAC Coordinator
The IQAC Coordinator is central to the cell's successful operation. Ideally, the Coordinator is a senior faculty member with an understanding of quality assurance systems and experience in institutional development. The Coordinator leads documentation efforts, facilitates meetings, manages reporting responsibilities, and ensures that the IQAC remains active, informed, and responsive.
